Katharine Hayhoe - CEO
Regional climate change, greenhouse gas emissions and climate policy

Katharine is an atmospheric scientist whose research focuses on numerical modeling of the earth-atmosphere system, and regional climate change modeling and impacts. She is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Geosciences at Texas Tech University and co-Principal Investigator at the Center for Integrating Statistical and Environmental Sciences at the University of Chicago. Katharine is the author of over 30 peer-reviewed publications, several book chapters, and numerous reports, and currently serves as an expert reviewer for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as well as a number of journals in her field. Her work has been presented before Congress and highlighted by many state and federal agencies, the most recent of these being the State of California, in support of greenhouse gas emission reduction targets.
